Agreement & collaboration

Terms & conditions

These terms set out the main conditions for Studio Hoogesteger commissions. A quotation and written project agreement take precedence where they contain a specific arrangement.

1. Application

These terms apply to quotations, commissions and services by Studio Hoogesteger, established in Drunen, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 77137752 and VAT identification number NL003161289B27, including photography, film, styling, clothing and visual design. Any variation is valid only when agreed in writing.

2. Quotation and commission

An enquiry submitted through the contact form, email or WhatsApp is informal and is not yet a booking or contract. A quotation describes the agreed work, schedule, delivery, usage rights and fee. A commission becomes binding upon written acceptance. Additional work or changes may affect the price and timing and will be discussed in advance.

3. Client cooperation

The client supplies accurate information, permissions, locations, contacts and materials needed for the commission in good time. Delays caused by missing input may affect the schedule.

4. Payment and cancellation

Fees, payment moments, any deposit and cancellation conditions are stated in the quotation or confirmation. In the event of late payment, Studio Hoogesteger may suspend work or delivery to the extent permitted by law.

5. Delivery and selection

Studio Hoogesteger determines the professional selection and finish unless otherwise agreed. Delivery dates are targets unless expressly agreed as strict deadlines. Raw files are supplied only when agreed in writing.

6. Intellectual property and use

Copyright and other intellectual-property rights remain with Studio Hoogesteger or the relevant creator. The client receives only the usage rights described in the quotation. Resale, sublicensing, substantial alteration or use outside that agreement requires prior written permission.

7. Portfolio and privacy

Use of commissioned work in a portfolio, on the website, in publications or on social media is agreed in advance and respects privacy, portrait rights and confidentiality.

8. Liability and force majeure

Studio Hoogesteger is not liable for indirect or consequential loss to the extent permitted by law. In circumstances beyond reasonable control, the parties will seek a fair revised schedule or solution. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Complaints and governing law

Raise a complaint promptly and give Studio Hoogesteger a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve it. Dutch law applies unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
