Privacy & personal data
Privacy policy
Studio Hoogesteger handles personal data with care. This notice explains what we process, why we do so and which rights you have.
Last updated: 26 July 20261. Who is responsible?
Studio Hoogesteger, established in Drunen, the Netherlands, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 77137752, is responsible for personal data received through this website and during an enquiry. Its VAT identification number is NL003161289B27. The studio can be reached at info@studiohoogesteger.nl, on 06-52864704, or through the contact page.
2. What data do we process?
When you contact us, we may process your name, email address, telephone number, preferred timing, selected services and the content of your message. If you contact us through WhatsApp, this may also include your WhatsApp profile name, telephone number, message content and files you send. The hosting environment may also process technical information such as IP address, browser type and security logs.
3. Why, and on what legal basis?
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation or meeting.
- To perform an agreement and organise the project.
- To keep the website secure and reliable.
- To comply with legal administrative obligations.
Depending on the situation, processing is based on steps before or performance of a contract, a legal obligation, consent, or the legitimate interest in handling enquiries and operating the website responsibly.
4. Retention
We keep information no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Information from an informal enquiry is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Project and administrative records may be retained longer where required by law. Contact-form messages are not stored in Sanity or on the website filesystem.
5. Providers and processing outside the EEA
Hostinger provides the domain registration, DNS, SSL, web hosting and branded business mailbox. The contact form delivers messages to info@studiohoogesteger.nl; a copy is forwarded to Studio Hoogesteger’s confirmed Outlook mailbox at Microsoft. Sanity is the content management system for published website content and does not receive contact-form messages. GitHub performs the automated website build and deployment and does not receive form content. JouwWeb is no longer involved in the domain, hosting, email or visitor website. If you choose the WhatsApp link, you open an external WhatsApp/Meta service and the WhatsApp privacy policy also applies. Appropriate processor arrangements are used where required. Where a supplier processes data outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards are applied.
6. Photography and film
Images are created and used according to the agreement for the commission. Publication in the portfolio, on the website or on social media takes place only where an appropriate agreement or other valid legal basis exists.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to the processing of your data. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us through the contact page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
8. Security and changes
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. This policy may be updated when the website, services or law changes. The date above identifies the current version.
